Heather Brand, MPH, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, SANE-A holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Providing trauma-informed sexual and reproductive health care free of shame and stigma to people of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities guides Heather’s practice. Currently, Heather is a nurse practitioner at the North Austin Planned Parenthood location, where she has helped to pilot the transgender services program.
Timothy Cavanaugh, M.D. has been a physician at Fenway Health since 2013, when he was named Medical Director of the Transgender Health Program. In this role, Dr. Cavanaugh helps to guide Fenway’s multidisciplinary team approach to providing high-quality, informed care for trans women, trans men, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, non-binary individuals, affirmed men and women, people with trans histories, and anyone with health needs unique to their diverse gender expressions and identities.
Curtis N. Crane, M.D. is the only surgeon in the world that has completed a urology residency, fellowship in reconstructive urology, plastic surgery residency focused on microsurgery and a transgender surgery fellowship. He now has one of the largest volume surgical practices in the country in San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX that is dedicated to serving the transgender community.
Sacha Jacobson is a Registered Nurse who lives in Austin, Texas and has worked at various clinics throughout the CommUnityCare organization in arenas including High Risk OB/GYN, Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Convenient Care Walk In. She is currently attending the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College.
Joe McAdams, Interim Executive Director of Kind Clinic, has served in the field of HIV prevention, HIV disease management, HIV and substance use outreach and curriculum-based education for over 20 years. Joe leads the clinic's mission in decreasing HIV transmission rates through PrEP and PEP access. Another important component of the clinic is the addition of gender affirming care services for transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) patients. Joe works along side the community and staff to make sure the health needs of TGNC patients are being met holistically when addressing their sexual health.
R. Francis Mijares is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He has been in private practice for 12 years and currently owns and operates Zest Family Practice and Skinologie Medical Spa in Northwest Austin. His practice offers comprehensive healthcare serving the LGBTQIA+ community including conventional and bio-identical hormone therapy, non-invasive cosmetic procedures and HIV management.

Johanna Olson, M.D. is an Adolescent Medicine physician specializing in the care of gender non-conforming children and transgender youth. Board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Olson has been an Assistant Professor at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for the past nine years.
Renee Randazzo, LPC Intern supervised by Sara Weber, LPC-S, is an LGBTQ-affirming psychotherapist with experience working with adolescents and teens in school settings. Renee is the Lead Clinician for School-based Services at Out Youth. Before arriving in Austin this past summer, she worked for one of the nation's leading organizations in LGBT healthcare, Fenway Health, as the Transgender Health Patient Advocate.
Dr. Dustin Reid, M.D. is a native of Clovis, NM. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where he graduated #1 in his medical school class. Dr. Reid is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and has also been consistently named by Plastic Surgery Practice as one of the Best Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeons. Dr. Reid and his partner, Dr. Gordon are two of the three physicians named as “Top Plastic Surgeons in Austin” by Castle Connolly & US News & World Report.
